A guide to understanding the requirements to join MSS # Who We Serve ## Individuals and Families Our primary service is to individuals who are support based and have their support coming from US donors. MSS has clients from all sorts of different organizations. From Bible resource production to evangelical ministries across Africa, we are here to help!  We can manage donor receipting, 1099 for workers, retirement accounts for workers, and more. We got you covered!  MSS offers a dedicated crowdfunding platform that enables you to track your received donations, share your unique giving page, create dates and targets, and even add other fundraising partners to the campaign. - Perfect for DTS, Church Mission Trips, Missionary projects, etc.  - Quick and easy to setup - A portion of the fee associated with CrowdFunding with MSS goes back towards MSS missionaries and ministry projects.  - Unlike GoFundMe, these gifts are tax-deductible! ## Our Clients We support individuals and ministries whose main work is in missions, which can take many forms. Because our clients have diverse callings, it's challenging to define them with a single statement. Here are some basic eligibility guidelines: *First and foremost, please understand MSS handles your current financial donations and enables tax deductible giving for United States Citizens. We do not employ missionaries and provide them with salaries. Some of our clients are not US citizens, but they have donations coming from the USA. We can do this too!* 1. Must be actively in missions. Proof of this must be in the form of newsletters sent regularly, with a minimum of quarterly. 2. Newsletters must contain regular evidence of missionary activities, such as, evangelism, church planting, pastoring/teaching, Christian studies, serving in a ministry, etc. 3. If your status in missions is uncertain, we will request a new letter showing what you are doing in missions along with new references vouching for you. 4. As soon as it has been determined your no longer serving in missions, your account will be terminated. 5. All non-US citizens will be required to be a part of an existing mission organization to be eligible.  *We must uphold our bylaws as a nonprofit and stay above reproach. We cannot put all of our clients at risk due to negligence on our part.* #### Are All Gifts Tax Deductible? - Yes! All gifts go directly to MSS, which is a registered 501(c)(3) organization. We then distribute these gifts to our clients at our discretion.
